I'm a peanut butter addict. I created this delicious cake recipe with double peanut butter with a pinch of cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • CAKE
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon mixed with cane sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 3/4 cup cold milk
  • FROSTING
  • 3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons melted margarine
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3/4 cup cold milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How To Make cinnamon double peanut butter cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Coat a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon/cane sugar.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, margarine, and brown sugar. Add beaten eggs and cinnamon; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, and sea salt. Add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture; mix well.
  • Step 4
    Pour into a prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool completely for 10 minutes.
  • Step 5
    In a medium bowl, combine 6 ingredients; whisk well for 3 minutes until blended and smooth.
  • Step 6

    Spread the frosting onto the cooled cake and sprinkle with cinnamon.
