This recipe is very old, I found in my mother notes, maybe she wrote in 1945....I am from Monterrey,mex. sorry for my inglish so far to be perfect..but I am trying ok?

method ---

yield 16 squares

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons cocoa, unsweetened hersey
1 tablespoon vinager
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cold water

How To Make chocolate squares

Step 1

mix all dryes

Step 2

add oil, vanilla, vinager and cold water, mix well
Step 3

bake in a square of 8x8 or 9x9 well grased just 30 min. at 350....no more that 30 min. is very moist.
Step 4

you can put in the top...ice,,,nutela....caramel ...pecans etc. etc..I hope you like and enjoy EVERYBODY LOVES>>>>>the first time I take to my church...o my God everybody wants the recipe.
