I've had this recipe for so long, I can't even remember where it came from! It is decadently good, though.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 4 cups raspberries, fresh or frozen (no need to thaw if frozen)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks

How To Make chocolate raspberry cobbler cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Melt the butter in a 9" x 13" baking pan.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla, and brown sugar.
  • Step 4
    Add 3 cups of the raspberries and the chocolate chips.
  • Step 5
    Pour the remaining batter over the berries, then top with the last cup of berries.
  • Step 6
    Place the pan in the oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
