I've had this recipe for so long, I can't even remember where it came from! It is decadently good, though.

unsalted butter
2 c
all-purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
1 1/2 c
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
4 c
raspberries, fresh or frozen (no need to thaw if frozen)
1 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks

How to Make Chocolate Raspberry Cobbler Cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Melt the butter in a 9" x 13" baking pan.
  • 3In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla, and brown sugar.
  • 4Add 3 cups of the raspberries and the chocolate chips.
  • 5Pour the remaining batter over the berries, then top with the last cup of berries.
  • 6Place the pan in the oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
