This is my husband's very favorite cake and whips up in a snap. Great plain or served with ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 box - white cake mix
  • 1 box - instant chocolate pudding (reg or sugar free)
  • 3 - egg whites
  • 2 cups milk, skim (or your preference)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (pecans okay too)
  • 1 cup mini or reg chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate pudding cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray baking spray in bottom and sides of 12 x 9 baking pan
  • Step 2
    IN a medium mixing bowl, blend together well cake and pudding mix.
  • Step 3
    Beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes, scraping sides often.
  • Step 4
    Pour into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle top with nuts and chips.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350 degrees according to cake mix box directions or for about 30 minutes. (Check for doneness with a toothpick) Let cool
  • Step 6
    Serve plain or with ice cream or whipped cream!
