This is my husband's very favorite cake and whips up in a snap. Great plain or served with ice cream.

Ingredients

1 box
white cake mix
1 box
instant chocolate pudding (reg or sugar free)
3
egg whites
2 c
milk, skim (or your preference)
1 c
chopped walnuts (pecans okay too)
1 c
mini or reg chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Pudding Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Spray baking spray in bottom and sides of 12 x 9 baking pan
  • 2IN a medium mixing bowl, blend together well cake and pudding mix.
  • 3Beat with an electric mixer for 2 minutes, scraping sides often.
  • 4Pour into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle top with nuts and chips.
  • 5Bake at 350 degrees according to cake mix box directions or for about 30 minutes. (Check for doneness with a toothpick) Let cool
  • 6Serve plain or with ice cream or whipped cream!
