chocolate cinnamon zucchini cake

I seriously overhauled a recipe as I am always trying to bake things in a healthier way. This came out better than I thought!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine softened
- 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 - brown sugar unpacked
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk- i've used 1% and skim
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups grated zucchini
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate cinnamon zucchini cake

Step 1Heat oven to 325. Add the 1/2 tsp vinegar or lemon juice to the skim milk and set aside. You want the milk to curdle.

Step 2Blend the first 6 ingredients together. Mix in the dry ingredients, then the milk. Batter will be somewhat thick.

Step 3Fold in zucchini. Spray a 13x9 pan with cooking spray, pour and spread batter.

Step 4Sprinkle chocolate chips over top of cake. Bake for 40-50 mins. or until done.
