Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter ( 1 stick ) softened
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups peeled and shredded zucchini
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate chip zucchini cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Step 3Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Stir in the zucchini.

Step 4Pour into a greased 9 by 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack
