Carrot Cream Cheese Swirl Cake
cream cheese, room temperature
1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients and spices. Add the applesauce, shredded carrot, and water until well-mixed. Set aside
3Using a standing mixer, with the wire whisk attachment, beat together the cream cheese and honey for a few minutes or until well-combined. Scrape the sides if necessary.
4Spread the carrot cake batter in a greased 9x13 baking pan. Pour spoonfulls of the cream cheese mixture on top.
5Swirl the two batters together in the pan using a knife. Bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely before serving.
