I received this recipe from a friend and have made it often. I've never met anyone who didn't like it!

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (i usually use duncan hines)
  • 1 box (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding (chocolate fudge or devil's food are my favorites)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup kahlua
  • GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup kahlua

How To Make black russian cake

  • Step 1
    Mix all cake ingredients very well with a mixer.
  • Step 2
    Pour into a well sprayed bundt pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350, 45-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Invert onto a serving plate. Using a toothpick, poke holes all over the cake (the holes won't end up showing)
  • Step 5
    With a small wire wisk, mix glaze ingredients until smooth. Spoon evenly over cake, and let cool completely.
