  Make cherry gelatin according to directions on box Pour all of the cherry gelatin mixture over top the entire cake, filling in the holes

  Spread entire can of cherry pie filling over the top of the cake
• Step 5
  Place in refrigerator for 45 min - hour until set Spread tub of frozen whipped topping on top of cherries
