This is a molasses cake that is called black bread because of the color. From my favorite aunt, Myrtle Nelson. Also a favorite of my other half.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups cooking oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups molasses
- 1 cup milk
- 4 cups self rising flour
How To Make black bread

Step 1Mix first 5 ingredients; add flour. Bake in a 9x13-inch pan at 325 degrees for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
