betty's delicious sticky slice
The use of store bought jam adds a mild fruity flavour to this rich and delicious jam-packed (pardon the pun :) ) slice. Combined with coconut and a tart chocolate, these bars are both sticky and scrumptious! Make well ahead of time and allow to cool completely prior to cutting and serving.

Ingredients
- 2 packages vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2/3 - 1 cups jam of choice (I like raspberry or mixed berry)
- 10 ounces chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips (300g)
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
How To Make betty's delicious sticky slice

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F / 180 degrees C and well grease a 12x8 inch tray.

Step 2In a large bowl, add the cake mix and melted butter. Mix well. Add to the prepared pan and carefully push out to cover the base. Pat down to make it firm. Bake for 15 minutes.

Step 3When the base is ready, heat the jam in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute. Use the back of a spoon to carefully smear all over the base. Top with chocolate then coconut then condensed milk. I use 1 tin for one half and the second tin for the second half.

Step 4Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Once it has reached room temperature (which will take roughly 4- 6 hours), slice into 36 pieces. Enjoy!
