1 box yellow cake mix
2 - regular sized boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 large can pineapple pie filling if you can't find i have directions below
8 ounces carton whipped topping
1 small package sweetened flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
3 cups milk

How To Make better than robert redford cake

Step 1

Mix and bake according to package directions. Remove from oven and poke holes all over with a fork.

Step 2

Spread with pineapple pie filling or make your own: In a sauce pan add cornstarch to a small can of crushed pineapple and heat until thick.
Step 3

Allow to cool.
Step 4

Mix pudding mix with 3 cups cold milk and beat until thick. Spread pudding over cake.
Step 5

Cover with whipped topping, sprinkle coconut and nuts on top.
Step 6

Keep in refrigerator, but do not freeze.
