ADD SOUR CREAM, MILK AND VANILLA; SIR TO COMBINE. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS ALTERNATLEY WITH BANANA MIXTURE TO CREAMED MIXTURE; BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. RESERVE 2 CUPS OF BATTER IN 2 BOWLS, 1 CUP IN EACH BOWL. STIR STRWBERRY PRESERVES AN FOOD COLORING INTO 1 CUP OF RESERVED BATTER. STIR SWEETENED COCOA INTO OTHER CUP. SPPON 1/2 OF PLAIN BANANA MIXTURE INTO PAN. TOP WITH STRAWBERRY BATTER. SPOON THE REST OF THE PLAIN BATTER OVER THIS. TOP WITH COCOA BATTER. BAKE AT 350 60-70 MINUTES OR CAKE TESTER COMES OUT CLEAN.

Step 3COOL 10 MINUTES ON WIRE RACK. REMOVE FROM PAN.ALLOW TO COOL COMPLETELY. SIFT WITH POWDERED SUGAR, OR DRIZZLE WITH CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA GLAZE.
