- GREASE AND FLOUR A 10 INCH BUNT PAN AND SET ASIDE. STIR FLOUR. BAKING POWDER, SODA,AND SALT TOGETHER, SET ASIDE.
- IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, BEAT BUTTER UNTIL LIGHT, ABOUT 30 SECS. ADD SUGAR, BEAT UNTIL FLUFFY. ADD EGGS 1 AT A TIME, BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. IN A MEDIUM BOWL MASH BANANA. ADD SOUR CREAM, MILK AND VANILLA; SIR TO COMBINE. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS ALTERNATLEY WITH BANANA MIXTURE TO CREAMED MIXTURE; BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. RESERVE 2 CUPS OF BATTER IN 2 BOWLS, 1 CUP IN EACH BOWL. STIR STRWBERRY PRESERVES AN FOOD COLORING INTO 1 CUP OF RESERVED BATTER. STIR SWEETENED COCOA INTO OTHER CUP. SPPON 1/2 OF PLAIN BANANA MIXTURE INTO PAN. TOP WITH STRAWBERRY BATTER. SPOON THE REST OF THE PLAIN BATTER OVER THIS. TOP WITH COCOA BATTER. BAKE AT 350 60-70 MINUTES OR CAKE TESTER COMES OUT CLEAN.
- COOL 10 MINUTES ON WIRE RACK. REMOVE FROM PAN.ALLOW TO COOL COMPLETELY. SIFT WITH POWDERED SUGAR, OR DRIZZLE WITH CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA GLAZE.
