Imagine Banana Bread with an added taste of Peanut Butter and Reeces. This is one of Pickey Palete recipes and we have made this recipe so many times because it taste so delicious so different from regular Banana Bread. You can also make this in a bundt pan of which I have done before.

Ingredients

  • 3 stick
    butter softened
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 5
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 small
    box vanilla pudding mix (4 oz. serving size)
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 5-6
    ripe bananas
  • 20-30
    reeces peanut butter cups (mini)
  • Glaze
    for topping:
  • 1 Tbsp
    smooth peanut butter
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar

How to Make Banana Bread with Peanut Butter and Reeces

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs until smooth. Add peanut butter, cinnamon, baking soda, salt pudding mix and flour until combined.
  2. Stir in bananas and Reeces. Make sure the bananas are well distributed and then add your Reeses.
  3. Pour batter into 3 greased bread pans or one bundt pan that has been greased. Bake 45 to 60 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean from the center of each loaf or until cake in the bundt pan is completely done. Let cool. Place powdered sugar, milk and peanut butter in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and drizzle on each loaf or the cake in bundt pan.
  4. MAKE SURE THE CAKE SPRINGS BACK IN THE MIDDLE WHEN TOUCHED TO BE SURE IT IS DONE ALSO USE A TOOTHPICK TO DETERMINE IF FINISHED BAKING.
