Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups ripe mashed bananas
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
How To Make banana bread bars with cream cheese frosting

Step 1Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and mix well, add mashed bananas and mix well, add vanilla and mix well.

Step 2In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well and add to first mixture and mix well.

Step 3Pour into a greased 15X10 Jelly Roll pan or use a cake pan and a small pan so the batter isn't so thick or it won't cook in the middle.

Step 4Bake 350 degrees for 25 min or until it tests done.

Step 5Cream Cheese Frosting 1/2 C butter 1 pkg cream cheese 4 Cups powdered sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla mix well and spread over cooled banana bars. Refrigerate to set Can refrigerate or leave out.
