banana bars
Another of my sons favorites. These bars are moist from the sour cream. A simple confectioners' sugar glaze tops them. I have also made them with a cream cheese frosting...great either way. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1 /2 cups sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1 /2 cups banana's mashed, about 3 - 4
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- GLAZE
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 1 1 /2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
How To Make banana bars

Step 1Mix sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs on low for 1 minute. Beat bananas and vanilla into sugar mix for 30 seconds. Beat remaining ingredients into banana mix for 1 minute. Spread into a greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch pan. Bake for 20-22 minutes at 375 degrees F. For glaze, mix ingredients. Beat until smooth. Spread onto bars when cooled.
