1966. This recipe comes from my mom's good friend Paula Donaldson. Ft. Defiance. Arizona in 1966. This cake is so moist and delicious it doesn't stay on the counter long! This is the best cake you will ever experience using bananas and pineapple.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drain the juice
  • 1 cup walnuts (pieces)

How To Make arkansas bundt cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 F
  • Step 2
    Grease your bundt pan really well!!!! It will stick on the bottom if you don't!
  • The batter is thick.
    Step 3
    DON'T use a mixer!!!!!! Mix together all the ingredients in a large bowl. Use a spatula to incorporate all the ingredients, then pour into your bundt pan.
  • Step 4
    Bake 65 minutes....(my oven heats lower so I bake it for 75 minutes).
  • It is done!  Insert a k--bob stick...a toothpick is too small to judge doneness.  It smells heavenly!
    Step 5
    Allow to cool for 10 minutes and then invert onto a plate.
