    cooking apples, finely chopped, do not peel
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice, divided
  • 1-1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 1
  • 2
    egg whites
  • 2-2/3 c
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 c
    1% milk
  • 2-1/2 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    light brown sugar

How to Make Apple-stuffed pound cake


  1. Heat oven to 350. Spray a 10" bundt pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine apples, 1/4 cup orange juice and cinnamon. In lg bowl, mix w/ beaters, the sugar and applesauce, beat 2 mins.
  2. Add egg and egg whites. Slowly add 1/2 the flour, and the baking powder, milk, and 1/4 cup orang juice. Beat in remaining flour, beat in vanilla.
  3. Pour 1/2 the batter into pan.Top w/ 1/2 the apple mix. Cover w/ remaining batter and then the remaining apple mix. Sprinkle w/ brown sugar. Bake about 1 hr, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
