Ingredients For apple -ginger- caramel nutty bread.heavenly slice.

  • 1 3/4 c
    golden medal all- purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    packed light brown sugar(trivia or splendar
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1/2 c
    light sour cream
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    finely chopped peeled apples(honeycrisp gala
  • 1/3 c
    finely chopped crystallized ginger(you can use fresh ginger just grind it very fine.
  • 1/2 c
    pistachio nuts, chopped
  • topping caramel nutty(as follows)
  • 1/2 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    unsalted real butter,(cut into pieces
  • 1/4 c
    light heavy whipping crream
  • 1 tsp
    light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp
    fresh ginger
  • 1/2 c
    pistachio nuts, chopped

    HEAT OVEN TO 350* SPRAY 8-1/2x4-1/2inch loaf pan with cooking spray

    LINE with parchment paper,allowing paper to extend over the sides. SPRAY Paper with with cooking spray WHISK flour,cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in large bowl.

    BLEND 1 cup brown sugar,oil, sour cream and eggs in a blender for 1 minute or until smooth...... Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. POUR in eggs mixture;Whisk until moistened. STIR IN APPLES AND NUTS AND CRYSTAL GINGER,spoon into pan.

    BAKE 55 minutes to 60 minutes or until long toothpick comes out clear,but slightly moist. COOL in pan on wire rack set over of wax paper for 10 minutes.

    MEANWHILE ,BRING all glaze ingredients to a boil in small pan over medium heat. STIRRING constantly .BOIL 1 minute ,stirring occasionally. COOL SLIGHTLY .REMOVE bread from parchment .with wooden skinny spoon poke holes(or long toothpick poke,poke through the bread.) SPOON 1/4 cup the warm glaze over the hot bread. ALLOWING glaze to seep into the holes. COOL completely on the wire rack.
