Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    melted unsalted butter
  • 3
    eggs
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 dash(es)
    nutmeg
  • 2 c
    apples, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    raisins

How to Make Apple Brownies

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  2. Sift in flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Mix until just moistened.
  4. Fold in apples.
  5. Toss raisins in a bit of flour, this will keep them from sinking to the bottom during baking.
  6. Fold in raisins.
  7. Pour into an 8x8 pan sprayed with non-stick spray.
  8. Bake at 350* until a pick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Start checking at about 30 minutes.
