angel cake bites
This are very easy to make and look like you spent a lot of this making this tempting treat to snack on. These can be made and frozen too. To color the coconut; just place a handful of coconut in a plastic ziploc sandwich bag and add a few drops of food coloring and squish around the coconut until all of it is coated to the color you want. Make several colors; to make the dessert plate colorful or just make orange for Halloween and Thanksgiving or red and green for Christmas. Red and white and blue for 4th of July!

Ingredients
- 1 package pre-made store bought angel food cake
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 to 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla or other flavoring
- 1 package sweetened flaked coconut
- - various colors of food coloring of choice
How To Make angel cake bites

Step 1Break up cake into bite size pieces. Place on tray and place in freezer for 15 minutes. Combine powdered sugar, water and flavoring in a medium bowl- making it thin enough to dip in the cake pieces ; but not drippy.

Step 2Place the coconut in your little bags and color with food color of choice and squish around to coat. Spread coconut onto wax paper to air dry.

Step 3Remove cake pieces from freezer and dip or drizzle with icing and then roll into coconut . Place on wax paper to air dry then onto serving plate. Beautiful!! You did a great job!!
