Amish Friendship Bread - No Starter

I have always loved Amish Friendship Bread, but I moved to a new town where I don't know many people. This was perfect for me so I didn't have to figure out what to do with the other starters! I also did not like waiting the 10 or 30 days for the other batches I have made. My 2 year old son is a natural in the kitchen and loves to help mommy add ingredients and mix, so this is how we have our mommy/son bonding time. We use a Bundt pan or muffin pan, as this has been described as more of a cake. It has been compared to a coffee cake. This yields 2 loaves of bread and is sweet.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

We're big fans of Amish Friendship Bread and really liked this no starter version. This bread is made with pantry ingredients. It's got the texture of banana bread and it's filled with a nice cinnamon taste. Not overly sweet, it will be lovely with a cup of tea or coffee for an afternoon treat. It's an easy recipe kids can help to make. We guarantee this won't last long. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
