5oth birthday "bra" support cake.
My friend is celebrating her 50th birthday on June 20th and I am making her birthday cake. It's a three layer chocolate cake filled with rum butter cream , covered in a layer of white fondant and the bra is made with colored fondant.This is my first attempt at a "bra support cake" so hopefully it turns out the way I imagine it!!

How To Make 5oth birthday "bra" support cake.

Step 1I'm not posting the cake recipe, you can choose any cake you want. I just want to post pictures of the decorating part. -
Step 2I cut out a template of a bra, seperated into sections - two cups and two straps. I inflated two small baloons and put them into bowls and placed the fondant "cups" on top so that they retain the round shape while drying. The edible gold pearls I applied while the fondant was still soft.

Step 3The straps I have pinned on a foam strip, held down with straight pins to get that wavy effect.
