  • 2 small
    apples, gala
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted, divided
  • ¼ tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 c
    milk, fat free
  • ¼ c
    all purpose flour
  • 3 large
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar, granulated
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp
  • 1 tsp
    sugar, powdered

How to Make Cinnamon-Apple Oven Pancake


  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Core apples and cut into 1/4 inch slices.
  3. Coat a 9 inch pie plate with cooking spray.
  4. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add apples and increase heat to medium-high. Cook,
    tossing occasionally, until golden, 8-10 minutes. Add cinnamon; toss to coat.
  6. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Arrange apples in an even layer on bottom of prepared pie plate.
  7. Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Pour butter into a blender; add milk, flour, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla and salt. Blend until smooth.
  8. Pour in an even layer over apples. Bake until puffed and golden, 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let cool until warm and then dust with powdered sugar. Slice into 6 pieces and serve warm.
