whole wheat pancakes
(1 RATING)
This is altered from the "Good Old Fashioned Pancakes" recipe at allrecipes.com. It has a decided tendency to come out thick. This was an issue with the original, too, and I'm still working on fixing it. If it comes out thick, add milk in 1/4 cup increments to desired thickness. The applesauce can be substituted for butter, bringing the total butter amount to 3 Tablespoons. I use the applesauce as another little calorie reducing option, but it isn't strictly necessary.
