sweet cormeal crepes

My husband made this delicious breakfast for me today,so I want to share the recipe.Happy Valentine's Day.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups white corn meal
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • pint salt

How To Make sweet cormeal crepes

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients.Put aside for 15 minutes.If is too thick add more milk;maybe 1/4 cup.The batter should be consistency of light cream.
  • Step 2
    Heat a well greased 6 inch skillet.Add 1/4 cup batter.tip skillet from side to side until batter covers bottom.cook until the bottom is golden brown,than turn and remove to plate.
  • Step 3
    Repeat with remaining batter.Serve with chocolate hazelnut spread,fresh fruits and top with whipped cream.Enjoy!
