This morning I was hungry and couldn't figure out what to eat so I came up with an idea that included 3 of my hot cereals which sounded good to me so I thought "why not?" Adding a handful of blueberries that was on hand and WOW did it taste good! Any fruit on hand will do for I had strawberries, grapes & bananas but blueberries sounded just right. Wanted to share it with all of you and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    maypo
  • 1/4 c
    farina
  • 1/4 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1-1/2 c
    milk
  • ·
    blueberries, fresh

How to Make Simply Savory Breakfast Bowl ... and Healthy Too!

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat milk in small saucepan till just about boiling
  2. Add dry cereals & turn heat down to medium until cereal is done (go by box directions if needed) stirring throughout cooking time
  3. Add butter/honey & milk (or water) to liquify if needed
