I made these scones for an Autumn tea party and they were a hit! I served them with the Cinnamon Butter and that took them over the top! I have since been serving them to my family and they really love them. I found the recipe in a magazine and boy am I am glad that I did

Ingredients
- PUMPKIN SCONES
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons cold butter pieces
- 2/3 cup heavy cream (whipping)
- 1 cup plain pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)
How To Make pumpkin scones

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spray bakings sheet with Pam or Pam-like spray.

Step 2Combine flour through salt. Cut in butter until crumbly. Cream in wet ingredients. Knead 5 or 6 times.

Step 3Roll to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into triangles.

Step 4Place on prepared pan. Bake 15 - 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve with:

Step 5CINNAMON BUTTER 1 stick butter 1/2 Tbsp. light brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon cream all together
