Protein Bars

Ingredients

2 cold fashioned oats

3/4 cmaple syrup

3/4 csunflower nut butter
-
1/4 calmond butter
-
1 cunprocessed wheat bran

1 cpowdered protein, whichever flavor you like (we use chocolate peanut butter)

1 cchopped walnuts
-
1 cchopped prunes
How to Make Protein Bars
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until combined (the mixture will be very thick). Be sure to combine well so the bars do not crumble.
- Press the mixture evenly into an 8 x 8 greased baking dish. Refrigerate to firm. Cut into 8 bars.
