These are a great replacement for granola bars. The original recipe did call for granola but since I didn't have any I used up the left over cereals I had. Great way to get rid of the dreaded end of the box syndrome! LOL

Great for breakfast or anytime. They keep well and travel well if you are a hiker.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 1/2 c
o-shaped cereal like cheerios
1 1/2 c
granola or i like to use kashi go lean
3/4
dried cranberries or raisins
1/3 c
packed brown sugar
1/3 c
honey
1/2 c
creamy peanut butter

How to Make Peanut Butter Cereal Bites

Step-by-Step

  • 1Spray an 8" X 8" baking dish (glass works best to get them out later)
  • 2Mix cereals and cranberries; set aside.
  • 3In a microwave safe bowl combine brown sugar, honey and peanut butter and microwave for 45 seconds or until smooth.
  • 4Toss with cereal mixture and press into pan.
  • 5Cool and cut. Wrap any extra in wax paper.
