peanut butter cereal bites

These are a great replacement for granola bars. The original recipe did call for granola but since I didn't have any I used up the left over cereals I had. Great way to get rid of the dreaded end of the box syndrome! LOL Great for breakfast or anytime. They keep well and travel well if you are a hiker. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups o-shaped cereal like cheerios
- 1 1/2 cups granola or i like to use kashi go lean
- 3/4 - dried cranberries or raisins
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
How To Make peanut butter cereal bites

Step 1Spray an 8" X 8" baking dish (glass works best to get them out later)

Step 2Mix cereals and cranberries; set aside.

Step 3In a microwave safe bowl combine brown sugar, honey and peanut butter and microwave for 45 seconds or until smooth.

Step 4Toss with cereal mixture and press into pan.

Step 5Cool and cut. Wrap any extra in wax paper.
