Pancakes with Maple-Peanut Butter Syrup
Great made in the waffle iron too! A family approved recipe!
Breakfast is ready in a snap! Enjoy this hearty bacon pancake that's made using Bisquick mix and served with maple and peanut butter syrup!
MAPLE-PEANUT BUTTER SYRUP:
3 Tbsppeanut butter creamy or crunchy
1 Tbspbutter or margarine, softened
1/2 cmaple-flavored syrup
2 coriginal bisquick mix
1/4 cmaple-flavored syrup
1/2 creal bacon pieces
How to Make Pancakes with Maple-Peanut Butter Syrup
- Preheat griddle or to 350^ or heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Spray the one you are going to use.
Make this first and keep warm.
In a small bowl, beat peanut butter and butter with electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Beat in the syrup until well mixed. Set aside.
In medium bowl, stir all pancake ingredients except bacon with a wire whisk or fork until blended. Stir in bacon.
For each pancake, pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until edges are dry.
Turn; cook other sides until golden brown. Serve with the syrup and some bacon pieces on top.
