newari pizza - egg style
Chatamari are also known as Newari Pizza, there are a few different variations of this dish. (Egg Chatamari, Keema Chatamari and Plain Chatamar)

Ingredients
- - 3 cups rice flour
- - 1 cup water, lukewarm (add a little at a time - more if necessary to make a slighty thin batter)
- - pinch of salt
- - 3 eggs
- - 1 cup ground meat
- - 4 tbsp cilantro, finely chopped
- - 1/2 tbsp ground coriander
- - 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- - 1/2 tbsp ground (red) chili powder
- - 1 green chilie, finely chopped
- - 1/4 tbsp freshly ground schezwan pepper
- - 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- - 1/2 tbsp minced ginger
- - 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- - 1 tsp ground turmeric
- - 4 tbsp oil
- - 4 eggs
How To Make newari pizza - egg style

Step 1Batter: In a large bowl add the rice flour, salt and water, mix well. Add the water a little at a time. You want the batter to be slightly thin and smooth, but not watery. Set aside until needed.

Step 2In another bowl, add the 3 eggs, ground meat, cilantro, onion, coriander, salt, onion, red chili powder, fresh green chili, ground pepper, salt, minced ginger, minced garlic and turmeric, mixing well to blend.

Step 3In a heated frying pan, add 1 tbsp of oil and pour 1/4 of the batter into the pan. On top of the batter add 1/4 of the meat mixture.

Step 4Now add a whole egg on top, cover the pan and cook on medium heat for 8 minutes, do not flip.

Step 5Treat the remaining batter in the same way...Enjoy!
