Ingredients
- BISCUITS
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- SAUSAGE GRAVY
- 1 pound bulk breakfast sausage
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make low carb biscuts & gravy

Step 1Preheat oven to 400. Liine a baking pan with parchment, silicone baking mat, or spray lightly with cooking spray. Set aside.

Step 2To make biscuits, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir to combine. Don't overwork dough. Scoop 3 T. dough onto prepared pan with an ice cream scoop or large spoon. Makes 9 biscuits.

Step 3Bake biscuits in oven for 15 minutes, or just until golden brown on top, while making gravy.

Step 4To make sausage gravy, in a large skillet, brown and crumble the sausage over medium-high heat until cooked through. Add the chicken broth, cream, xanthan gum and stir. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Continue to cook until gravy is thick. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Serve over split biscuits. 1 biscuit and 1/6th of gravy is 3 net carbs each.
