Make breakfast special with this easy recipe. It is so easy and fast to make you can take the time to set the table with the pretty dishes. Don't put that ugly syrup bottle out... warm the syrup and put it in a pretty creamer... Serve the butter melted in another pretty dish... and poof elegant breakfast to start your day

butter, cold
1 c
1/2 tsp
almond extract
1/4 tsp
vanilla extract
1/4 tsp
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
powdered sugar

How to Make French Toast


  • 1Melt butter in microwave in a glass measuring cup
  • 2Pour melted butter into an appropriate serving dish
  • 3Measure milk using the same measuring cup
  • 4Turn griddle on
  • 5Whisk eggs in a shallow dish, gradually adding milk
  • 6Add flavorings, cinnamon and brown sugar
  • 7Continue whisking until mixture is a mellow yellow and cinnamon and sugar are evenly distributed
  • 8Test griddle with a few drops of water and when it scizzles it is ready
  • 9Dip bread into mixture one slice at a time coating completely then immediately place on grill
  • 10Flip once and toast till golden brown
  • 11Arrange on serving plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with melted butter and warm maple syrup
