keto monte cristo breakfast sandwich
Following a keto lifestyle, I got hungry one evening and wanted something filling, and this is what I came up with. 2 french toasts with thick bacon and cheese, dipped in sf syrup, either maple or blueberry, for that sweet & salty flavor we all know and love.

Ingredients
- 2 slices 0 carb bread (i use aldi wheat)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 slices thick sliced bacon, precooked
- 1 slice cheese (i used colby jack)
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free maple syrup or blueberry
How To Make keto monte cristo breakfast sandwich

Step 1Heat nonstick skillet to medium heat. Place butter in skillet and allow to melt.

Step 2Beat eggs in a shallow dish and coat both sides of first slice of bread; Place in melted butter and brown on both sides; remove to plate and repeat with other slice of bread, leaving this piece in the skillet. Now you have 2 pieces of french toast.

Step 3Top french toast in skillet with cheese slice and bacon slices. Top with other slice of french toast; Turn over to melt cheese and heat bacon. Remove to plate and serve with sf syrup
