1place sugar and water in medium saucepan.
Boil together until sugar dissolves. Keep an eye on it to keep it from boiling down too much. Takes only a few minutes. It is the corn syrup that gives it consistency.
2Add dark corn syrup and stir to combine. Remove from stove.
3Add Mapeline or Maple flavoring. Add butter flavoring.
Can serve warm with pancakes or waffles. Consistency is thinner when warm. Store in the refrigerator.
