Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin, canned or cooked
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax meal
  • 2 tablespoons toasted wheat bran
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon dark molasses
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make irish pumpkin oats

  • Step 1
    Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Add steel-cut oats, cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, until all water is absorbed into oats.
  • Step 2
    Stir in all remaining ingredients except for vanilla, cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
