steel-cut oats
1/4 c
unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 c
pumpkin, canned or cooked
2 Tbsp
ground flax meal
2 Tbsp
toasted wheat bran
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
ground nutmeg
1 Tbsp
dark molasses
1 tsp
vanilla extract

How to Make Irish Pumpkin Oats


  • 1Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Add steel-cut oats, cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, until all water is absorbed into oats.
  • 2Stir in all remaining ingredients except for vanilla, cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 3Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
