any type of potato-with or without skin
onion powder, fresh onion or dehydrated or none
any cooking spray
garlic salt or season salt to taste

How to Make Healthy Fried Potatoes


  • 1Cut up potato and onion
  • 2Spray cooking spray in pan and heat
  • 3Add ingredients to pan and cook on high until potatoes are brown
  • 4Turn heat to medium and add a lid-check potatoes every few minutes by turning/mixing. Add about 1/4 cup water and replace lid. Approx 20 minutes to cook and potatoes will be tender and tasty with no greasy flavor or fattening side effects that come with fried potatoes
