I don't like the smell or taste of grease or oil and because my husband is diabetic I cook healthy as much as I can, especially foods that I know he likes.

Ingredients

  • - any type of potato-with or without skin
  • - onion powder, fresh onion or dehydrated or none
  • - any cooking spray
  • - garlic salt or season salt to taste

How To Make healthy fried potatoes

  • Step 1
    Cut up potato and onion
  • Step 2
    Spray cooking spray in pan and heat
  • Step 3
    Add ingredients to pan and cook on high until potatoes are brown
  • Step 4
    Turn heat to medium and add a lid-check potatoes every few minutes by turning/mixing. Add about 1/4 cup water and replace lid. Approx 20 minutes to cook and potatoes will be tender and tasty with no greasy flavor or fattening side effects that come with fried potatoes
