This is a great breakfast or pre/post workout snack. You can use any flavor of baby food or fruit with any flavor of protein. Get creative! :) This recipe serves 4 and nutritional information is as follows: Calories - 300 Fat - 10 Carbs - 26.5 Protein - 23

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon all spice (optioanl)
  • 3 - egg whites
  • 3/4 cup splenda or stevia in the raw
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt (for example, fage)
  • 8 ounces baby food or fruit puree
  • 2 - scoops protein powder
  • 3-4 tablespoons ground flax seed

How To Make healthy "breakfast cake"

  • Step 1
    Mix dry ingredients together.
  • Step 2
    Mix wet ingredients together.
  • Step 3
    Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour the wet mixture into the dry and mix well. Pour into a sprayed 8x8 pan.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
