Ingredients

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2/3 c
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey or molasses
  • 1/2 tsp
    vamilla
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 c
    filler (uncooked oats, rice crispie cereal, or whatever items you want to add) sometimes i mix both oats and cereal.
  • 2 c
    12 oz. of chip morsels,( whatever flavor you like, chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch, cherry )

How to Make Granola Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, and baking powder, set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, and beat until creamy.
  4. Add honey or molasses, vanilla extract, and egg and mix well.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture, stir in oats and morsels.
  6. Press into 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake at 350 Degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool Completely cut into 2 x 1 bars.
