all purpose flour
1 tsp
1/2 tsp
baking powder
2/3 c
butter, softened
3/4 c
brown sugar
1/3 c
2 Tbsp
honey or molasses
1/2 tsp
1 1/2 c
filler (uncooked oats, rice crispie cereal, or whatever items you want to add) sometimes i mix both oats and cereal.
2 c
12 oz. of chip morsels,( whatever flavor you like, chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch, cherry )

How to Make Granola Bars


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
  • 2In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, and baking powder, set aside.
  • 3In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, and beat until creamy.
  • 4Add honey or molasses, vanilla extract, and egg and mix well.
  • 5Gradually add flour mixture, stir in oats and morsels.
  • 6Press into 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake at 350 Degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool Completely cut into 2 x 1 bars.
