Ingredients
- 8 cups old fashioned oats
- 6 cups nuts : 2 cups each of sliced almonds, pecans and walnuts chopped
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make good for you "granola"

Step 1Mix oats, nuts, seeds in a large bowl Microwave for 5 minutes, sugar & water in a small bowl. remove from microwave, add vanilla and salt. Pour over nuts and oats; toss and mix well to coat.

Step 2layer flat on a large cookie sheet with sides. I love the large pampered chef bar stone.. Bake 275 oven for 1 hour. Should be light brown and look crispy.

Step 3Cool on a rack for 30 minutes. Break apart and store in airtight containers.
