How to Make Fruity Oatmeal
- In a medium saucepan bring the water and salt to boiling.
- Stir in oats, 3/4 cup of the peach, the dates, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Reduce heat.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 3 minutes (for quick oats) or 5 minutes (for regular oats), stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat.
- Cover and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.
- Top with remaining 1/4 cup peach.
- If desired, serve with fat-free milk.
