These are fairly healthy and pretty darn good. They also keep you "regular". My hubby likes to pour milk on a couple in the morning to eat for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8oz. - vanilla or plain yogurt
  • 2 - eggs(lightly beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 cup dried fruit(i used tropical fruit mix)

How To Make fruit and oatmeal bars (low-fat)

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix first 7 ingredients.In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to yogurt mixture and stir well. Stir in oats and fruit. Place in ungreased 13x9 inch pan and bake 30 minutes. Let cool slightly and cut into bars.
