This comes from the "Comfort Diet Cookbook:Family Classics Collection. Have 2 pieces of this with 1/2 cup plain fat free yogart with 4 sliced strawberries and a 1/4 cup blueberries. Add a cup of hot tea . TOTAL CALORIES IS: 328. ( Use 2 Tablespoons of sugar free syrup on your French Toast)

- 1 - apple,peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon reduced fat butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 slices french bread,..1/2" each
How To Make french toast with apple toppings

Step 1Saute apple brown sugar until tender. In a shallow bowl whisk egg,milk and vanilla. Dip both sides of French Toast in egg mixture. In a large skillet, melt the reduced fat butter over medium heat. Cook bread on both sides until golden brown. Serve with apple mixture over the top of French Toast.
