FRENCH TOAST: Break the 2 eggs into a shallow bowl and beat them with a fork. Add the milk to it and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Heat up a skillet and add a tablespoon of oil to it, spreading it around. (A non-stick skillet would work well here, but is not essential.)
Dip one slice of bread into the egg mixture, wait a few seconds, the turn it over and let it soak a few seconds more. Put immediately into the hot skillet and repeat with the other slice. Once it is browned, flip it over and brown the other side. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
