Ingredients

1 c
steel cut oatmeal
4 c
water
2
apples, finely chopped
2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
nutmeg
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
brown sugar (optional)

Step-By-Step

1combine everything in a two quart crock pot, stir and allow to cook on low for 8-9 hours.
2stir oats until everything is combined and oatmeal is creamy.
3pour into bowls and top with desired toppings, such as brown sugar, nuts or fresh berries.
