As I was about to make pancakes for our Sunday breakfast, My daughter asked me to make Cream of Wheat Pancakes this time. She had eaten them at a restaurant once and enjoyed them. I found a recipe at Allrecipes. com and they turned out well. I hope you will enjoy them.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup instant cream of wheat
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup vanilla extract

How To Make cream of wheat pancakes

  • Step 1
    Mix together flour, cream of wheat,sugar, baking soda and baking powder in a large bowl. Whisk together the milk, sour cream,vegetable oil, egg and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  • Step 2
    Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, carefully. Heat a large skillet that has been sprayed with cooking oil over medium heat.
  • Step 3
    Make pancakes the size of your choice and cook them until lightly browned, flipping once. Enjoy !
