This recipe is a heath food junkies dream. Like something from "whole foods" special blends. You can just feel the vitamins pumping into you. And this recipe doesn't require cooking or heating

Ingredients

  • 4 cups toasted malt flakes (from health food stores, usually)
  • 1 1/2 cups oatmeal, large flakes, toasted is possible
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup dried cranberries, coarsely minced
  • 1/2 cup dried sour cherries, coarsely minced
  • 1/2 cup raisins, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry dates, minced
  • 1/4 cup mango or pineapple, minced
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup toasted coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure orange oil

How To Make cranberry, sour cherry, almond granola

  • Step 1
    Toss all ingredients in a large bowl. Store in a dry place. Or package it up in a Mason jar as a gift (tied with a ribbon).
  • Step 2
    To serve, offer 1/2 cup with milk.
