Ingredients
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups all bran cereal
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 - eggs/ beaten
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons dark molasses
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar. packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make buttermilk bran muffins

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Paper a muffin tin.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine oil, All bran cereal and buttermilk. Let sit for 5 minutes. In a separate bowl beat eggs, add raisins, molasses, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir just until ingredients are moist.

Step 3Add to the bowl flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Fold into the wet the ingredients.

Step 4With an ice cream scoop, scoop batter into muffin tin. Fill all cups as full as possible. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes, or until muffin springs back when touched.
