Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup vanilla soy or almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons dried fruit
  • 1 tablespoon brow sugar or dark agave nectar or brown rice syrup

How To Make breakfast quinoa

  • Step 1
    In a medium saucepan, combine water, quinoa, and cinnamon; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer stirring occasionally until quinoa is soft and translucent and liquid is absorbed, an=bout 12-15 minutes. Stir in milk, dried fruit and sweetener.
  • Step 2
    serve immediately.
